event-2016-08-pleinairb

IMPORTANT UPDATE!! DATE CHANGED TO AUGUST 13th 2016!!

Attention all plein air artists!

We will be holding our next plein air event on August 13th, 2016. We will meet at The Blackstone Gorge on County Street, Blackstone, Massachusetts, at 11:00 AM. There will be an artist demo and talk and we will take a short break and paint the rest of the afternoon.

Bring a lunch and we will find a local facility we can use.

The instructor is Dustin Neece at https://dustinneece.com

This plein air event is free to BVAA members as well as for residents of the town of Blackstone. The cost will be $40 for anyone else interested.

We will then incorporate these paintings in our second Show at Daniel’s Farm on September 11, 2016 for the Claflin Symphony outdoor concert. We can discuss further plein-air non-instructional outings in Blackstone if anyone is interested.

This event is being sponsored by the Blackstone Local Cultural Council. Send your intent to participate to info@bvaa.org so we can plan our logistics!
