Third Place – Lynn Randolph – Brotherly Love – “The entire piece is beautifully executed, from the layout to colors to technique.”

Honorable Mention – Carol Frieswick – Foppema’s Orchards – “Special note is given to the looseness of the trees in the background. “

Charlie Smith

I learned the coping strategies I teach to others to help me deal with the trauma in my life be it recent or 30+ years ago, because we may be able shut the doors on our past and we may be able to block them out of our thoughts, we may even be able to take medication to ease the pain.

But, in order to truly overcome the trauma in your lives, and in my own life, is to have long term solutions through meditation, positive thinking, confidence building talking with someone you can trust, and other grounding techniques and coping skills; not just band-aids to cover up the wounds.
