Current Shows
There was a lot of interest at our Claflin Concert show.
The Choco L’Art show is ongoing and several ballots have been received.
Upcoming Shows
We are still looking for a venue for our Spring show.
Amazing Things is booked through the year. Pam will contact them soon for next year.
Consider the Atria? Norfolk Public Library? Patriot Place Gallery 21?
Plein Air – We haven’t received any feedback on a location. It is being supported by a grant from
the Sutton Cultural Council so it must be in that area.
Field Trip 2/16/16 to the Worcester Art Museum Cyanotype show.
Next meeting: March 15th. Sarah Alexander will present a demonstration on Three Dimensional Water Color painting

• Pam Siderewicz announced that 3 pieces were sold at the February 6th Claflin Orchestra show.
The next Claflin show is 2/6. Help is needed for set up (2/5, 5-6:00pm) and take down
(2/7, 8-10:00am)
• Choco l’Lat/People’s Choice show. Drop off is 2/11 from 9-2:00. Pick up is 2/20 from 9-12:00. Reception is 2/13. We are looking for donations of chocolate. Carol Frieswick and Judy Belden offered to contact known donors. Pam will ask Marie Cafferty to solicit other donations.
• Pam will contact Amazing Things in Framingham and Judy Belden will contact the Hopedale Community House as a possible spaces for the Spring show.
• The Premier Image show is coming up. Drop off is 3/10-12. Reception is 3/24 from 6-8:00.
Grants
• Carol Frieswick announced that we have received 3 grants
– The Blackstone Council in conjunction with the Claflin concerts
– From Sutton for the Plein Air event at Daniels Farm. Will be looking into other farms as well.
– Northbridge Cultural Council
Program
• Judy Belden gave a presentation on night photography
• Bob Evans gave a demonstration and then offered hands-on of abstract oil and ink photography.

Minutes of brief BVAA business meeting prior to holiday party December 15, 2015
Bylaws
• Pam Siderewicz explained that the Board is in the process of updating the BVAA bylaws.
Examples of changes:
Frequency of meetings from once every other month to every month
Membership open to everyone rather than just those in the Blackstone Valley
Changing from “he” to more gender-neutral references
Deleting outdated standing committees
• The motion was made and seconded to approve the Board’s changes to the bylaws. The vote was unanimous.
New members were announced and welcomed
• A new membership list is being compiled.
Shows
• Lisa is doing the publicity for the January show at Alternatives.
• 4 pieces were sold at the Alternatives show. We hope to be included next year as well.
• 3 pieces were sold at the Holiday Pops Concert. Teaming with the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra is a good match for BVAA.
• A venue is needed for the Spring show.
