-Newspaper, matte photo paper and cyanotypes didn’t work out too well
-Letters will print mirror image!!

-Colored paper works great

Hands-On Printmaking Session

Bob Evans has graciously offered up his home as a location for a hands-on printmaking session this coming Sunday, January 10th, 2016 from 2-4pm. We will be inspired by the Alternatives Printmaking opening reception on Friday and then see what we can do with our own two hands!

For even more inspiration, take a look through all the photos from November 2015’s demo with printmaster Randy LeSage –

Black and White Show at Milford TV Station

Every two months we rotate the show at the Milford TV Station. The drop-off for the upcoming January-February 2016 show on the theme of “Black and White” is Thursday, January 7th from 6-8pm. Note that this is a week later than usual. Usually we do it on the last Thursday of the month, but we are moving it forward a week in this case to avoid New Year’s Eve.

This date is also the reception (and take down) for the existing “Small Works” show. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend!

Please bring food or drink to share!

The Milford TV Station is at 138 South Main Street.

The Milford people do the labels and hanging for us, so please use the online submission form to indicate what you’re bringing and also label the back of each piece with its information. This show is for BVAA members only and is free to participate in.

2015 Holiday Party

Our BVAA 2015 Holiday Party will be on Tuesday, December 15th from 6:30-9pm. This year we’ll be catering the main dinner and then doing pot-luck for dessert. This should help to make cleanup easier.

If you wish to participate in the Yankee present swap, bring a $10 wrapped present for the festivities.

Let Carol F know if you’re planning on attending, so she can get the final headcount!

It’s at the Northbridge Senior Center, as all our meetings are.

Note that we’ll be voting on the proposed new bylaws at the start of the meeting. If you haven’t read them yet, they are in our “About” area.
