DATE: Saturday September 16, 2017
The Hopedale Day in the Park 2017 is coming up! This is the 38th annual year they’ve done it. Celebrations in Hopedale actually began way back in 1902!
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for artists. They have a large art show which gets quite a number of visitors and a fair number of sales. Also, the BVAA has a booth where we showcase our art.
In 2017 the Day in the Park is held on September 16, 2017, with a rain date of Sunday. They only have the rain date if it’s heavy rain – light sprinkles don’t count! It is a one-day show. You bring in your work in the morning, they judge it, the show goes through the afternoon, and you take it home.
This is at the Hopedale Town Park, at the corners of Dutcher & Northrop Streets in Hopedale, MA.
Note that the BVAA does NOT run the Hopedale Art Show. We are merely helping to publicize it since it’s so much fun.
THEY REQUIRE A PRINTED ENTRY FORM MAILED TO THEM. YES IN AN ENVELOPE WITH A STAMP.
DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 6 2017 IN THEIR HANDS.
Make sure you allow time for the mail to get there! The cost is $20 for up to three pieces. Pieces must be framed and wired.
Review BOTH of these documents and get your entries submitted!
