Congratulations to the winners of our 2025 Carbon Copies Fakes and Forgeries art show! The voting was done by people’s choice. We had a LOT of votes coming in via YouTube, email, website, messenger, in person, and many other avenues! Pretty much every item of art got some votes! Thank you to everyone who voted on first, second, and third place to help us choose our winners!

First Place

Congratulations to Laura Cenedella for winning first place in our forgeries show with her version of Ivan Aivazovsky’s painting “Ship in the Stormy Sea”. Beautifully done, Laura!

Second Place

Congratulations to Carole Plante for winning second place in our forgeries show with her humorous take on the famous painting “The Two Sisters” by Theodore Chasseriau. These were the actual sisters of Theodore. Great painting, Carole!

Congratulations to Murray Kohn for winning third place at the BVAA 2025 Forgeries Show!! Murray painted a version of Paul Cezanne’s painting “Still Life with Apples and a Pear”.
