This invitation comes courtesy of the Artist Guild of Shrewsbury!
All are welcome to come paint for a day on the grounds of this historic landmark. Several art guilds from the area will be there. It will a great time to say hello and meet other artists that live within a close vicinity.
When: Saturday, July 7th
Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm for those who prefer morning light or afternoon light
Rain: date Saturday July 14th
Parking will be behind the house on the back yard.
Restrooms are available inside the Artemas Ward House.
Bring a snack, water and painting supplies. FYI, there is a great family restaurant and take out called Dean Park Pizza that is walking distance away.
There will be a free tour of the house at 10:00 AM for those who would like to see the inside and learn more about General Artemas Ward and his family’s contribution to the community and the Revolutionary War.
Art share during the day to be determined.
